Product Description

The 3-seater sofa with rectangular sides was the last piece of furniture Mogensen would finish before he died. The geometric design was the conclusion of Mogensen's minimalist exclusive upholstered furniture range.

Materials

Fully upholstered sofa, available in leather or fabric.
Fixed legs of solid wood, built into the hardwood internal frame.
Seat is supported with polyamide webbing. Separate seat, back and arm cushions with removable covers.
Cushions has foam core with down wrap.
Leather sofas has piping in all stitches and fabric sofas are made with double stitch.

Borge Mogensen always aimed for a restrained aesthetic in designs with clarity and precision. As the last sofa he designed before his untimely death in 1972, the Mogensen 2333 personifies his fondness for designs driven by vertical and horizontal lines. Emphasising the rectangular appearance of the 2333, the inner cushions sit upright and parallel to the armrests. Giving a strong graphic impression that’s modest yet self-confident.
